The Nene Tereza (Mother Teresa) Organisation is an Albanian ethnic community organisation based in North London which exists to improve the quality of life of children and young people of Albanian speaking backgrounds living in UK.

Inspired by Mother Tereza, who died a year earlier, Nene Tereza Organisation was formed and established in February 2008 by individual voluntary efforts which in a very short amount of time attracted around 400 members.

Nene Tereza community organisation started as an informal education support group of Albanian parents who wanted to provide extra support to numerous children who demonstrated low education achievements within the Albanian communities of North London Borough Haringey and Enfield. Founding parents strongly needed a place where they children can go and speak their language and learn more about their culture in order to preserve Albanian culture in the community.
